Our mission
design within the home.
We provide our customers with thoughtfully-designed home goods to create their home into a sanctuary… because it is the spaces we inhabit that set the foundation for a more well-balanced life.
We explore how a more harmonious life begins within the home, with the objects we choose to surround ourselves and how those objects inspire our overall mood and wellbeing.
We are committed to sourcing sustainable materials to yield durable home goods that will stand the test of time in both longevity and design.
We are not only devoted to delivering long lasting products, but also to our ethical manufacturing processes that support local communities and the artisans who craft them.
Our History
High-end textiles is woven into the rich history of our company. Since 1978, our parent company, Riviera Home Furnishings, has been creating exceptional textiles for the world. We, as a family-owned business, started off by selling cotton fabrics from our own shop in the historic city of Panipat, India. Following generations, expanded into wool yarn trade, handwoven wool, handwoven cotton products including blankets, rugs, shower curtains and placemats, and of course, floor coverings.
There is a rich history of Indian carpet and rugs, especially those made of wool, that trace back to 500 B.C. The traditions of textile making and handlooms have been passed down through generations of weavers, and many of the techniques have remained the same over the centuries.
Throughout its long history, the carpet weavers of India, among the world’s most skillful artisans, have created carpets renowned for exquisite designs, elegance, refined colorations, and workmanship.
We use 100% sustainable cotton (Organic Cotton, BCI Cotton, GRS Cotton).
Beyond this, products are also made from PET, Recycled Cotton, and Rag (or what we call, Chindi Rugs).
GoodWeave® Partner
